About the assignment The client, active in district heating, district cooling, electricity, recycling, and energy services, is currently looking for two transport managers. The assignment begins with training expected to start on May 5 and last until June 19. The assignments are full-time, one lasting from May 5 to August 15 and the other from May 5 to August 1. The location is Halmstad. Your responsibilities

In this role, you will work with a variety of tasks and have different areas of responsibility. You will, among other things, plan, lead, and develop the operational activities of the transport department, which consists of the collection and transport of waste and recyclable materials. You will have daily contact with other areas of operation to best meet both internal and external needs. Examples of additional tasks:

• Steer towards your own, the department's & the company's goals to achieve results
• Be responsible for, e.g., optimizing routes/tours within your area of responsibility
• Control, coding & approval of invoices
• Be responsible for and actively involved in your own development
• Daily transport management for the department's operations, vehicle and personnel planning
• Administration and active work of the systems relevant to the operations
• Daily contact with other areas of operation to best meet both internal and external needs
• Document and administer all incoming cases to ensure good follow-up and statistical data
• Have economic insight – i.e., achieving the most benefit with the least resources
• Stay updated on the laws and regulations applicable to the department's area of operation and ensure compliance

Your qualifications

• High school level or equivalent, preferably with additional independent courses in transport and logistics
• Extensive practical experience in the transport industry and experience as a transport manager
• Good computer skills, basic knowledge of contract and transport law, work environment, and experience in project management

As a person, you have great drive and initiative, are service-oriented, and have the ability to structure, plan, and prioritize your own and the department's work.

Meritorious

• Experience from the environmental sector
• Driving licenses C, preferably CE, and professional competence certificate
